Eli and Scooter became permanent house guests in 2012 after a friend asked me to foster them for 24 hours. Eli was very apprehensive, and Scooter was just happy to have attention. Fast forward, Eli is big teddy bear (lab-husky) and Scooter (beagle mix) is a big baby.

We’ve been very blessed with Rafa dogs over the years, but Eli and Scooter are among the best. I have a reason to come home, and they great me with excitement regardless of how long I’ve been gone.

I only include this on my website to remind myself and everyone that family is the most important thing, and pets are family too. I’m fortunate to have two spoiled dogs to rush home to whenever I get the opportunity.
